Townhome Update 2/7/20

No shoveling.  No repairs.  Where do I sign?

If you haven’t taken a drive down Waterford Court lately, I encourage you to stop by and take a peek.  Construction has begun on 1966 and the windows are installed.  1977-1979 foundation is poured, and soon we will be breaking ground on 1957-1959.

  • Pricing:
    • Pricing for our new Townhomes includes the cost of construction and appliances.  We do not factor in the value of the land in the pricing, so you are able to get a home that would cost more in the open market.  Our entrance fees for the 3 available units range from $290k-$400k.  Entrance fees are 85% refundable on all homes.  Monthly fees are $775, and property taxes are TBD.

    • Of the 5 units that we are building, 3 are still available
      • 1966 Waterford: $400k
        • 1895 square feet,
        • 2 bedrooms + den, 2 baths, 2 car garage
        • Fireplace, screened porch, deck, quartz counters
      • 1979 Waterford: $345k
        • 1790 square feet
        • 2 bedrooms, 2 baths, 2 car garage
        • Screened porch, bay window, zero step entry
      • 1959 Waterford: $290k
        • 1514 square feet
        • 2 bedrooms, 2 baths, 2 car garage
        • Screened porch, open concept, zero step entry
  • Other homes:  We are currently working on pricing for another unit that will have a 1400 and 1600.  Our plan is to build more units as we get commitments from people during the pre-sale process.

The Division of Quality Assurance recently completed their annual state survey at Cedar Crest Retirement Community. The result of the health survey was that Cedar Crest had no deficiencies. The average number of health citations in the state of Wisconsin is currently over seven. The survey team mentioned how beautiful and clean the kitchen is and they commented how happy residents and families are with the nursing care at Cedar Crest. Construction continues on our Clubhouse, the newest addition to our Cottages at Cedar Crest Retirement Community. At the Clubhouse, residents will have exclusive access to the fitness room, a pub, a gathering room, and indoor/outdoor seating along the Rock River. Projected completion date is March 2024.
