September 2021 Expansion Update

3D aerial rendering of the new multi-story Independent Living apartment building on the expansive 60-acre campus at Cedar Crest Senior Living in Janesville, WI, showcasing our vibrant non-profit retirement community.

When can I pick out my new Apartment/Villa?

Earlier this week, our leadership met all day with our architects and construction partners to review bids and refine what our actual costs will be.  In the coming weeks, participants in the Pioneer Program will have the exclusive opportunity to select their homes in the priority that they joined the Program.  After the Pioneers have had their opportunity to select their homes, any remaining homes will be available for the general public.  We are optimistic that we may be able to start sitework this fall on the apartments.

Our list of Pioneers has grown to 31 as more people decide to make Cedar Crest their future home.  It’s not too late to join our Pioneer Program and secure your priority opportunity to select your new Villa/Apartment.  All it takes is a $1,000 refundable commitment and an approved application (no application fees).  CLICK HERE to find out more.

Here's the annual duck update from Kim:It’s that time of year again!!! Mr. and Mrs. Mallard welcomed 11 little fuzz bundles today! While we would have loved to keep them in the courtyard for everyone’s enjoyment, we needed to move them along to the pond to dip their toesies in the frigid water. Several staff and residents watched the parade through the Memory Care lower lobby. Thank you to everyone who helped make this a successful journey! ... See MoreSee Less
