We are looking for an individual to join our Life Enrichment Team. This individual will plan, organize and direct a program of activities which provides opportunity for entertainment, exercise, relaxation and expression and fulfills the basic psychological, social and spiritual needs of our residents. The hours for this position are 8:30am-5pm (40 hours/week). Friday schedule is 10am-6:30pm. Every Thursday off. Must work every other weekend. Must work one major holiday, and two minor holidays per year.
The successful candidate will have the following skill, knowledge and abilities:
- Compassionate with a positive attitude
- Stellar customer service skills
- Available for rotating weekends and holidays
- Available evenings
- Previous experience in a long-term care setting preferred
- Previous experience working with dementia population preferred
