Cedar Crest recently hosted a ribbon-cutting ceremony to celebrate the completion of our independent living apartment expansion. These 24 open concept apartments are connected to the existing apartment building with indoor access to dining and amenities. Those in attendance included the Cedar Crest board and leadership team, representatives of Forward Janesville, JP Cullen, and many other construction partners that helped us make this dream a reality. New residents (and members of the Cedar Crest family) will start moving into the building later this month.

It’s that time of year again!!! Mr. and Mrs. Mallard welcomed 11 little fuzz bundles today! While we would have loved to keep them in the courtyard for everyone’s enjoyment, we needed to move them along to the pond to dip their toesies in the frigid water. Several staff and residents watched the parade through the Memory Care lower lobby. Thank you to everyone who helped make this a successful journey!
Happy Cinco De Mayo. We enjoyed a traditional Mexican meal with all the trimmings.
