OUR STORY
In the early 1960s, Mrs. Fred (Ina) Barnett and Mrs. Rena Strickler left sizable estates to establish a home for the aged. Through the efforts of their longtime friend and executor, Helen S. Taylor, along with attorneys George Geffs and Marshall Brown, combined these estates, totaling over $900,000. Mrs. Daisy Munn approached them and offered to sell 22.5 acres of sheep pasture for $23,000. This is where Cedar Crest was built.
